While real-time solutions are often the preferred method to achieve accurate field positions, there are many applications where postprocessing is required. Especially when high accuracy is required or when working in areas with limited or no availability of real-time corrections, postprocessing is usually the surveying method of choice. Even where not required, the option now exists to provide full data coverage in the event a real-time solution is not fully operable.
